In March, we had the pleasure of speaking to Mrs. Brown and her class from Mt. Calvary Junionr Academy. They entered a competition, hosted by the First LEGO League, where they were challenged to create a concept to help people in their local community and around the globe. They pulled their heads together to design a sink that is accessible to wheelchair users and able-bodied people alike.
Our Custom Mobility team is always happy to speak to younger groups about disability, wheelchairs, and adaptive equipment! Interacting with this group was truly extraordinary, because they wanted to make the world more accessible for people with disabilities.
