About Custom Mobility - Florida (1 of 1)

We're Different, Here's Why:

For over 40 years, Custom Mobility has supported your mobility needs! In addition to providing exceptional wheelchair service, our staff can match you with your ideal, wheelchair accessible vehicle. CMI’s staff is certified and highly trained, allowing us to produce unique, innovative, and creative solutions. The expertise of our employees grants us the ability to create and deliver products of the highest quality. Our services are unmatched by any provider in the industry of Complex Rehab. Technology (CRT).
Above all, Custom Mobility cares about the wellbeing of our clients! Unlike most companies, we sell new and pre-owned mobility equipment. Because we can refurbish these products, we can sell them at a discounted rate. For those experiencing issues with funding sources, our stock of pre-owned vehicles and mobility devices could offer the perfect solution for you!
CMI has a number of Rehab Specialists, on staff. They are experts in seating and positioning, focusing on custom-designed seating systems. Whatever your needs, our Rehab. Specialists can adapt a wheelchair frame to best suit your lifestyle.
We can also come to you! Even if you can’t make it into our facility for a repair to your mobility equipment, Custom Mobility provides service to clients from Tallahassee to Miami.
Every piece of mobility equipment is unique, and accessible vehicles are no different. As part of CMI’s evaluation process, we take an assessment of your transportation needs. If you use a mobility device, you will need a vehicle that can accommodate your needs. Whether it be a Toyota Sienna or a Dodge Ram, our goal is to match you with the perfect vehicle. That means it must suit your lifestyle, and must have enough room to safely accommodate your wheelchair, scooter, walker, etc.

Specializing In Custom Adaptive Wheelchairs Since the 1980s

In July 2002, Custom Mobility moved into its 28,000 sq. ft. home in Largo, FL. Our facility was specifically built to accommodate retail sales, service, and light manufacturing. When designing our building, we specifically designed an environment that would be accessible and comfortable for our clients. To make our clients’ lives easier, our facility features a covered entrance and parking, ADA compliant restrooms with additional space and changing tables, and power doors.
