Securement systems are like seatbelts for mobility devices, keeping your equipment as safe as possible. Since everybody’s devices are unique, certain securement systems may work better than others. You can count on our team to find the best fit for you!
Docking Systems
For some of us, it can be difficult to lock down our mobility devices. For clients who need a hands-free solution, docking systems are an easy and effective way for securing your wheelchair or scooter.
QLK
After installing a receiving pin to the frame of your manual or power wheelchair, securing it in your vehicle becomes extremely easy. Engage the QLK by simply driving over the device, carefully guiding the pin into the receiver. Release it with the quick push of a button.
EZ-Lock
Durable and reliable, EZ-Lock systems are made from steel. After installing a receiving pin to the frame of your mobility device, simply drive over the locking mechanism. The receiver will grab the pin with ease, securing your mobility device.
Tie-Downs
Tie-downs are a more traditional way of fastening your mobility device to the floor of your vehicle. Attach these straps to your wheelchair or scooter’s frame, then tighten them to an appropriate point for your device.
Q-Straint
If you are searching for an affordable and reliable tie-down solution, the QRT Standard may be the product for you. Featuring a semi-automatic retractor system and a single tensioning knob, tightening and releasing is a piece of cake.
Manual Tie-Downs
These tie-downs have been a staple in our industry for a long time! Secure one to the frame of your wheelchair, then pull the strap and tighten it the desired amount. Remove it by pressing the top of the device, while pulling the strap in the opposite direction.
Floor Anchors
To properly secure the tie-downs in your vehicle, you must first attach them to sturdy floor anchors. Since they come in a few designs, we’ll help you choose the floor anchor that will best fit your lifestyle and mobility device.
Oval
Using a single bolt, and without modifying the floor of your vehicle, these anchors don’t require us to modify your vehicle’s floor. By minimizing tripping hazards, as well as interference with your wheelchair’s casters, oval anchors make it easier to move in your vehicle.
Slide & Click
This model of floor anchor is easy to operate with just one hand! When the device is successfully secured, it even gives visual and audio cues. They are capable of rotating 360 degrees, making the process easier for both wheelchair users and caregivers.
Flush Mount (L-Pocket)
Also featuring a single bolt design, the Flush L-Pocket is recessed in the floor of your vehicle by 3/8". They also minimize tripping hazards and interference with your wheelchair’s casters. Sweeping guides are featured on both sides of the anchor, making them easy to clean.
L-Track
These floor anchors are the most used system in the industry. The versatility of L-Tracks allow them to be installed through the entire length of your vehicle. They can be mounted to either the floor or the walls, allowing you to secure your mobility device in almost any location.
